We want you satisfied, not stressed. Here’s how our returns work.


🔄 Change-of-Mind Returns

  • 7 Days: Unused and unopened items may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery for a refund.

  • Opened but unused: If the item is in as-new, re-sellable condition, we may accept it at our discretion. A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply to cover testing, repackaging, and payment-gateway costs.

  • Courier costs: You are responsible for return courier fees on change-of-mind returns. Use a tracked service and keep proof of shipment.


📦 Wrong Item or Transit Damage

  • Report within 7 days of delivery with photos of the parcel and item.

  • We’ll arrange collection and either send the correct item or issue a refund.

  • Courier costs are covered by us in these cases.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

  • Digital items / activation codes once delivered.

  • In-ear earphones and other hygiene-sensitive products if the seal is broken.

  • Screen protectors or films once applied.

  • Items with removed security labels or missing accessories.


✅ Return Condition Checklist

  • All original accessories, manuals, and packaging must be included.

  • Device must be signed out of all accounts (Find My / iCloud / Google FRP disabled).

  • No PINs or locks remaining. Perform a factory reset when requested.


📩 How to Request a Return

  1. Email support@powerbyte.co.za with your order number, reason, and photos.

  2. We’ll reply with approval steps and, if applicable, a shipping label.

  3. Once received, inspection takes 2–7 business days.

  4. Refunds are processed to your original payment method. Banks may take an additional 3–5 business days to reflect.


🔁 Exchanges

  • If you’d prefer a different colour/model and it’s in stock, we can exchange once the original item is received and inspected.

  • Any price difference will be settled before the exchange is shipped.


💳 Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect.


🚚 Courier Damage Claims

  • Keep all outer packaging until your claim is resolved.

  • Courier investigations typically take 5–10 business days.
